Colored Label Manager reports let you gather data from labels for yourself or others, such as your team, department, or even your whole company. You can use these reports to gain insight into your business and share your data. By applying filters, you can display the results in precisely the way you want -- and then save the report so that it takes just one click to run it again whenever you need it. You can then use these saved reports to manage your data, and print or export your report data for later use.

With Colored Label Manager, there’s absolutely no coding required and certainly no need to learn Jira Query Language (JQL) for that matter. You can make fully customized reports just by selecting options from dropdowns.

Types of Reports Available

  1. Global Label Reports (System-Wide)

    To generate reports across your entire Jira system :

    1. Click on More.

    2. Navigate to Apps.

    3. Select Colored Labels.

    4. Go to Reports.

 

  1. Project Label Reports (Within a Project)

    For reports within a specific project:

    1. Click on Project Labels.

    2. Go to Reports.

Create a report

  • Click on the report you want to generate.

    • For example, select "Issues by Labels".
      Then, select the Colored Label field "Servers", choose "All" labels, and group the results by Status Then Click Save .

    • You can filter issues that have only one label by clicking in the button in the right .

  • You can export the report as a PNG or CSV file. Additionally, you can export detailed issues along with their associated label Item.

  • Once you’ve created a report, you can save it for future use, and you can see all saved reports here.

How to Save an Edited Report

  1. In the Reports view, load your previously saved report.Edit the report as

  2. desired. Make your desired edits.

  3. Choose to either:

    • Overwrite the existing report,

    edit
    • or

    • Save as a new report by editing the name and

    click 
    • clicking Save.

📊 Issues by labels :

  • Provides a quick overview of Jira issues based on Labels . You can create reports using categorized by labels.

    • Filter by Jira labels or any

    colored label field with any label values, and you can group your results by assignee, status, Issue type, or priority, or any combination of those four.

  • Labels in time reports show the issues in time including
    • Colored Label field.

    • Group results by Assignee, Status, Issue Type, Priority, or a combination of these.

Labels in time

  • Allows you to track issues over a specific period, displaying the relevant colored label field, associated label(s), and the time range you are interested in. For example, you can create a report that includes all tickets that were labeled "urgent" select.

    • Example: Generate a report of all tickets labeled “urgent” between April 1, 2024, and
