Info

Colored Label Manager for Jira comes with a built-in Project Labels field, which you can start using immediately in your project. However, you are not limited to just one colored label field—you can create as many as needed for different purposes.

For example:

  • Bug Categories: Create a colored label field to categorize bugs (e.g., UI Issue, Backend Error, Performance Bug).

  • Release Tags: Use a colored label field to tag issues based on release versions (e.g., v1.0, v1.1, Hotfix).

  • Teams or Owners: Assign responsibility by creating a field for team names or specific owners (e.g., Frontend Team, QA Team, DevOps).

✨ This flexibility allows teams to structure their work efficiently while maintaining clear visual distinctions with color-coded labels.
