Deleted labels are still suggested in label field |
Sometimes deleted labels might be still suggested as recent labels. This is caused by Jira storing recently used labels in browser local storage. There is a ticket to fix this in Jira Issue tracker.
In the meantime, you can delete the local storage data from your browser:
It seems like you're encountering an issue where deleted labels are still being suggested in the label field within Jira. Here are some steps you can take to address this problem:
Refresh the Page: Sometimes, the issue might be resolved by simply refreshing the page in your browser. This can help clear out any cached data that might be causing the deleted labels to still appear.
Clear Browser Cache: Try clearing your browser's cache and cookies. Cached data might be causing the deleted labels to persist. Open Console → Application (or Storage in Firefox) → Local Storage. After that, find your Jira URL, right click and use Delete All popup to delete temporary data stored in your browser. After clearing the cache, reload the Jira page and see if the problem persists.
Check Project Configuration: Make sure that the labels you're trying to delete are not somehow still associated with the project configuration. Review the project settings in Jira to ensure that the labels have been properly removed.
By following these steps, you should hopefully be able to address the issue of deleted labels still being suggested in the label field within Jira.
Contact us: If the issue persists after trying the above steps, it may be a more technical problem with your Jira instance. In that case, it's best to reach out to to us for assistance. We can help diagnose the issue and provide guidance on how to resolve it.
