Installing Custom Team Activity Stream

Deep Activity - Issue Change History

Option 1: Installation from within Jira

  1. The App is built on Forge, which means it is hosted by Atlassian itself and no data leaves your instance.

    • Log into your Jira instance as an admin.

    • Go to Settings → Apps → Find new apps

    • Locate Custom Team Activity StreamDeep Activity - Issue Change History

    • Click Get it now to download and install your app.

    • You're all set! Click Close in the installed and ready to go dialog.

  2. Log in with an account that has Jira Administrator Permission on your instance

  3. Click Get it now

  4. Select your instance

Adding the plugin Custom Team Activity Stream on the Dashboard

From your Dashboard, click on edit then you’ll see a window with “Drag your gadgets here or add a new gadget”. Click on add a new gadget.

Use the search bar to find “Custom Team Activity Stream by Atlassway” and add it directly on your Dashboard.

Starting with the plugin

Once the Filter Activity Stream Gadget added to your dashboard plugin is installed in your Jira instance, you can start configure it as needed .

Title

The title can be let it by default or you can add a new one. When you have few search filter at the same time, we recommend to use different title as it allows you to precise the nature of each search.

Customizing your filter

Create your custom filter using basic search or JQL .

  1. Click the 3 dots …

  2. Click Configure

  2. Start creating your filter (basic search or JQL)

Please note you can also use saved filter , Choose your custom filter from the search bar or directly form the list (see screenshot) .

Custom team activity stream lets you highlight issues based on JQL, make your Dashboard even more informative.

  1. Save selection In the Jira dashboard, a user can select filter values and save them for that particular report representation in the Jira dashboard. This selection will override the default values that are selected in the custom team activity stream. Please make sure to “Save” the selection (see picture above).
